RIDGELINE U17THE MATERIAL DIFFERENCE A MORE CONSIDERED CHOICE
What’s beneath makes a difference. Underfloor heating is a long-term part of your home. We build our systems around Ridgeline’s flexible corrugated stainless steel tube.

A different kind of tube. Clear facts. Real installation. A specification that considers the whole system.
01 / MATERIAL Stainless steel at the core. 316L stainless steel carries the water. A thin PE outer cover protects the tube. It is a materially different construction from an all-plastic pipe.
02 / FORM Corrugated. And flexible. The corrugated form gives the tube its flexibility. See how it handles in the installation comparison below, across three fixing methods.
03 / SYSTEM The full design matters. Heat output depends on the complete floor, tube spacing, water temperatures and room conditions. We start with your project’s requirements.

A FLOOR-FIRST APPROACH
Three ways to build it in. Clip-down & screed Tube clipped to suitable insulation before screeding. Castellated panels provide an alternative fixing approach.
Insulated overlay Routed foil-faced boards support the tube as part of a specified floor assembly.
Tiled overlay A Heatbacker board approach, with the supporting layers and tile finish confirmed for your project.

Choose Heatbacker for my quote ↗ These images show Resonate’s board families. Your quote confirms routing for Ridgeline U17’s 17.2 mm outside diameter; a standard 16 mm board is not an automatic substitute. Board selections are quoted separately from the clip-down core pack.
