Use the current instructions for every component in the order. The tube data sheet does not replace the board, manifold, controls or floor-finish instructions.

Can I select a kit using room area alone?

Area is one input. A heating design also needs the room heat loss, usable heated area, floor assembly, heat source, pipe layout and operating conditions. Account for the tube runs to and from the manifold as well as the tube within each room.

Which board should I use with Pro-FAST 17?

Use a board specification approved for the actual tube. The Ridgeline data sheet lists Pro-FAST 17 at 17.2 mm outside diameter. Routing, returns, floor layers and the complete assembly need to suit the tube and intended finish.

Can the system work with a heat pump or boiler?

The heat source is part of the system design. Provide its model, available operating temperatures and any existing design information. The required flow, pump arrangement, temperature control and interlocks must be checked for the complete installation.

Do I need a pump and mixing set?

That depends on the heating design and heat source. A pump or mixing set should be specified because the installation requires it. Do not add one solely because another underfloor heating kit includes it.

Can I use any manifold or Ridgeline fitting?

Check the complete connection assembly against the chosen manifold. Tube size and a thread description alone are insufficient. Ridgeline Underfloor uses its own connection components; Ridgeline Plumbing P1 and RidgeLock are separate systems.

Can I use tiles, timber, laminate or vinyl?

Confirm the particular finish with its manufacturer and the floor-system instructions. The permitted temperature, thermal resistance, preparation, fixing method and any cover layer depend on the actual products. A finish category by itself does not confirm suitability.

Does a tiled overlay board make a wet room waterproof?

The complete wet-room construction needs an appropriate waterproofing and tiling specification. Do not assume that a board or a heating kit provides the whole waterproofing assembly.

What should be checked before the floor is covered?

Have the installer check the layout, connections, tube condition and complete assembly against the approved design and instructions, and retain the required test records. The Ridgeline Underfloor data sheet sets a maximum pressure-test limit of 5 bar. The complete procedure must also respect any lower limit for another component.

What if the tube or another component appears damaged?

Pause installation of the affected item. Keep the packaging and product identification, take clear photographs and contact us with the order reference and a description of the issue. Get the appropriate product advice before covering the floor or attempting a repair.

What information helps with an existing installation?

Include the order reference, product models, installation date, circuit layout, heat-source details, relevant settings and commissioning records if available. Describe the symptom and any recent changes. A qualified installer should assess issues that require physical inspection or work on the heating or electrical system.

How do I check delivery, returns or warranty cover?

Contact us with the product and order details. Ask for the applicable written delivery terms and product-specific warranty before ordering. Different components can have different warranty terms; a tube design-life statement does not give every item in a kit the same cover.
